Who is Young Living?

Our community of wellness started small in 1993, when D. Gary Young and Mary Young developed their first organic herb farming and distillation operation. How I Got Started with Young Living Essential Oils

In the fall of 2013, I moved from a small town in Ohio to Powell, Tennessee to attend Bible college. I thought I was ready for this and I thought this was where I was supposed to be. But for those four months I was away at college, I became emotionally distraught. I was more homesick than I ever thought I would be. I would call home crying ever hour of the day, and was determined every time I passed 71 North to just drive home right then and there. So, you get the point. It was the toughest emotional time I have ever gone through.

My mom learned from a friend about essential oils, and she thought this would be something that could help me. On one of the many trips she made to see me, she brought me some essential oils to try, including Lavender. I do believe that between the oils and a couple supplements she brought me that my life was made a little more bearable at the time. It was then that my mom began to learn the many uses for essential oils. And, through a lot of research, my mom discovered that Young Living essential oils were the purest grade of essential oils, and therefore being the safest and best choice for our family. This has been one of the greatest decisions our family has made. We live healthy and toxin-free to the best of our abilities!

We only use Young Living essential oils because of their high quality, and we very rarely take any type of medication. Young Living oils and products help us to stay ABOVE the wellness line. Our oils have replaced many things in our cabinets, including our beauty products.

 I didn’t know until about a year ago how many products Young Living carries besides just oils. We have used many of the products, and they have changed our lives. I am very grateful for the change in my health Young Living has provided for me alone.

This past summer, I attended Young Living’s National Grand Convention in Dallas, TX with my mom. By the end of the convention, I was more in love with the Young Living company and everything it stands for. I began to look in more detail at the compensation plan, and realized I could work less hours and from home, and make more money than I did at my current job if I take the time and effort to truly focus all my attention on it. At the end of January 2016, I will be working full time from home, with one of my main incomes being my commission from Young Living.

 It is truly amazing to think that God created essential oils at Creation. Essential oils are basically the life-force of the plant, and God created the plants! Men and women used oils centuries ago and lived healthy lives, and all without being able to run to the drugstore! God designed essential oils to keep our health in check, and for some reason, some of us are just now hearing about this gift from God.

 I am so thankful God brought Young Living into our lives. I look forward to using them in my home and for my family, and seeing how God blesses my business! I give God all the glory for His amazing creation!
